Privacy Policy

KidSwing ("the app," "we," "us") is built and operated by an independent developer in Commerce Township, Michigan. This policy explains what information KidSwing collects, how it's used, and the choices available to you and your family.

Information we collect

KidSwing is designed to keep your family's information on your own device wherever possible. The app collects:

• Player profiles — name, age group, sport, handedness, and similar details entered by a parent or coach.
• Session and swing data — hand speed, swing path, attack angle, and other metrics generated while using the app.
• Team information (coach accounts only) — team name, roster, and player position assignments.

Camera and video

KidSwing uses your device's camera to analyze swings in real time. Video frames are processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework and KidSwing's own detection software. Video is not uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server we operate.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

KidSwing is designed for use by parents and coaches on behalf of young athletes, many of whom are under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Player profiles are created and managed by a parent or coach, who provides consent during setup before any player information is entered.

A parent or coach can review, edit, or delete any player's information at any time from within the app, or by contacting us (see Contact, below).

Where information is stored

Player profiles, session history, and team information are stored locally on your device. KidSwing does not currently operate a cloud backend or user account system. If this changes in a future version, this policy will be updated before that change takes effect.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases (such as unlocking additional features) are handled entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. KidSwing does not receive or store your payment information — Apple's own privacy policy governs that information.

Third parties

KidSwing does not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not display third-party ads in the app.

Your choices

You can delete a player's profile and all associated session data directly from the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app.
